Blok 5 Digital print laminated on cinder block, approx. 50 × 20 × 20 cm each, 2020. The images here retrace he different visits I did in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, during my Erasmus mobility. The thing that impressed me the most in this city is the district called Blok 5. I find interesting the way buildings fit into each other to create a harmony between elements of the various streets. The name of the place comes from the five brutalist towers built during the communist era. Through the cinder blocks I represented the locations of those towers that are nowadays still under reconstruction. By playing with its architecture, I was able to build a site where it is free to move around.
