Dodeline NODDING Zone À Dessins (drawing area) is a research and investigation workshop in rural areas proposed by the École Supérieure d'Art de Lorraine on the initiative of the artist and professor François Génot. A group of students immersed themselves in the territory of Delme and its surroundings to carry out fieldwork, unfold sedimented stories in order to develop graphic projects. Their outings, their encounters and their intuitions led them to consider the landscape as a patchwork of multiple intertwined issues (geographical, geological, environmental, botanical, social, economic, archaeological, military...) For the Weekend of Contemporary Art, the team invests the Gue(ho)st House and the public space to share their experiences and offer the public a sensitive and plastic alternative reading of an unsuspected territory.
